Hello all.

I have a L300 incoming. I live in the US, Florida. Fell in love with Delicas when I spent some time in BC.

I've googled and searched to death on delica.ca, delicaclub, mdocuk. And while previously there have been kits and group buys, I could not find anything current and active. I even scrolled down 2 - 3 years worth of posts on this Modifications thread.

I just want a 1-2" lift so I can get some 30-31" tires on it.

I know that can likely be done with a front torsion bar adjustment, putting in a ball joint spacer, trimming the bottom bump stop.

In the rear it appears I need a shackle kit.

Longer rear shocks and heavy front shocks also probably not a bad idea.

The problem is I can't find any active links or classifieds to purchase these items. So if anyone knows where I can get these items, shipped to Florida, fill me in, and I'll be a happy and grateful person.

I'm not sure about the rear shackles- on mine I got 2" of rear lift just by removing the seats . It's alleged that the shackles are the same as Mitsubishi Triton/Strada/L200/Dodge Ram 50, but I haven't personally confirmed it. These guys appear to have what you want. I think some dealers have ordered trailer hitches from them, but I'm not sure about the lift kits.

I fit 235/85/16's (about a 31.7" tire) in my l300 at stock ride height. I did wind up the torsion bar maybe an inch, but i also think it was sagging lower than what stock ride height would be. Rear is stock height.
I did have to remove the mud flaps and trim some/hammer a couple places in the front, which you'd have to do regardless, but not much, spent maybe 2 hours. Rear needed nothing.

I'd recommend trying without a lift first, I'm really happy with how mine drives, adds clearance where you need it, but still drives well on the road.
I found some super light 16" 0 offset aftermarket toyota wheels that I think helped keep it handling well on the road. widens the footprint, 16" wheels seem to reduce the sidewall flex i'd expect from 15"s and equal size tires. and the light weight wheel/tire combo didnt hurt acceleration much at all.

I think a HD torsion bar, to get the front to sit just a tad higher and reduce diving, and better shocks all around is what i'll end up doing. Any other suspension stuff I do will be to gain travel/articulation rather than height.

You can run 30' tires without a lift. Loved the cooper AT3 30's on mine.

Thanks all. I have the tires on and no more rubbing, which I'll detail below. But the front is super bouncy. Like bouncing off the bump stops bouncy over a fairly small hump in the road. It has new shocks from previous owner, some low quality looking blue things I can't find a brand on. Anyway, whatcha think about beefier shocks and/or heavy duty torsion bars? Rear seems fine.

So to date all I've done is crank up the torsion bars to where the front is level with the rear. I put on a 255/70/16 tire on a 16x8 with 0 offset wheel and I got quite a bit of rubbing. I was kind of stuck with the wheels/tires, so had to make it work.

I had to cut out some metal on the back side of the wheel arch, and re-shape the mud flaps, trim the plastic, reshape some plastic, hammer back that bolt that holds the mud flap, etc. I did a little at a time because I wanted to keep the stock look, not go overboard. On the front of the arch I had to cut out some plastic and I reconfigured the step mounts. On the driver side that meant modifying the flap that protects the radiator fan as well. All seems good now.

Quick update. Removed off the front, Monroe 31232 shocks and replaced with Monroe 550012 shocks. The 550012 are much larger, much more heavy duty and feel so good, I don't think I want to replace the torsion bars. Although Dobinson out of Australia said they'd ship me some and they're reasonably priced.
