Steering Wheel Crossovers?

So, the wrap on my steering wheel was worn when I bought the van last summer. It wasn't too bad, but it's gotten worse over the year, and I'd like a solution. Apparently, to re-wrap it would cost around $600, which I don't have. Does anyone know of other vehicles whose steering wheels can be switched over to a Delica? I'm hoping to find something at a wrecker's, maybe...

My mate fit a 90's Mitsy mirage wheel on his L300. Bolted straight on, so I assume other Mitsy models are compatible.

On my old Delica I had a sports wheel that was fitted to a Mitsubishi Lancer.
I have also heard of others using a Pajero wheel with no issues

Image I concur. I got one like that, except sans Habs logo. After installing the snake, I tied three long strands of whipping twine off together at one end and put the other three ends into the black chuck of my screw gun, pulled the trigger and wound them up. Then wrapped my wheel with the combo twine, like this:

Really good for palming.
