Warning-- Straight wheels when jacking up your front tires

Hey

Just a heads up. Make sure that your front wheels are straight forward if you jack up your driver-side wheel as the steering arm boot bellows can get damaged   . I had to jack up the front wheel and had the steering turned ever so little, the frame pinched and punctured the bellows of the steering arm boot. So make sure that your wheels are straight before you jack it up.

Has any one changed the boot cover?
Part number or any ideas?
I am booked in to get the alignment done at West Coast next week but they asked me to supply the part myself for obvious reasons...

Appreciate the heads up - and regret cannot help on the part.
I have not had reason yet to pull the wheels - coming soon when I go to 31" tires.
But the diagram I believe is posted somewhere here indicates lifting from the center diff up front meaning both front wheels come off the ground at the same time.
Am I mistaken?
