Dual Piston Brake upgrade layout

A friend and I have been hammering away at the dual piston caliper upgrade for the last couple days and it's been a satisfying, albeit frustrating project. I'll look to post post again when it's all said and done with pictures and things that saved me a lot of time. But in the meantime anyone who has done this upgrade how did you fit the flex line in there with out it rubbing on the wheel or shock/body? if I turn the wheel to full lock the hose rubs on the tire. Moving the middle bracket around to alleviate that pushed it into the shock/body.
I was also wondering if a single 15" hose from hard line to hard line hung from the bracket would work better. You certainly wouldn't have the problem of trying to figure out how to bend and where to stash away the extra.

I think I left the top and middle brackets alone and modified (AKA: bent) the short steel pipe to bring the lower bracket back to approximately where it was on the single piston caliper.

Very nice! I was just wondering about that alternate bracket placement. Good to know it worked for you and hopefully it give my longer braided line the clearance it needs.

Growlers picture looks a little different than I remember so I took a couple of pictures this morning. Your situation sounds similar but worse than mine. The braided hoses are a little longer than necessary and mine rubbed on the wheel if I was going around a corner and put on the brakes. The dino evo install uses a bracket to keep the hose further from the wheel. I loosed the existing bracket and turned it to the inside.It seems to have worked. I put tape on the hose to see if it still rubbed and the tape is still there after a few thousand KM so I guess it worked. Good luck with the rest of your install, I'm sure you'll be impressed with the results especially on long downhill runs.

Ah! I remember now. My new calipers didn't come with the short steel line, I re-used the (longer) one off the old calipers.

I wonder if you could re-angle the bracket and steel pipe on the caliper to aim the flex hose away from the tyre?
