Hi all! Since becoming interested in getting a Delica I've used this site quite a bit for tons of info. My wife and I are absolutely convinced that a Delica will be perfect for all our camping adventures. Not to mention super practical as a daily driver for people and gear. And snow.
I have a couple work colleagues that have imported multiple vehicles from Japan, and they're helping me out with that process now. Just monitoring the auctions for that perfect one!

Welcome to Delica Canada, Foles
Good luck on your endeavours. Your nic reminds me of a book store in London (UK).
Happy trails,
Falco.

Well that was unexpected! I happened to be in Vancouver on the weekend and decided to check out some Delica's. Because I was planning on importing my own the idea was simply to learn as much as I could about them. But then I saw 'the one' and decided to buy it right then and there. I cancelled my flight back home to Fernie and drove it all the way. Between Vancouver traffic and mountain passes it took me 13 hours, alone, and with no radio. I was pretty pumped about my day though, so it wasn't so bad. I arrived at 5:30 am just in time for work.
Needless to say my wife and I are super pumped! Can't wait for the summer!
