Replacing flywheel/clutch, what else to do while I'm at it?

I'm replacing the flywheel, clutch and starter, on my MT l300, I've heard you should replace the bearing in the middle of the flywheel as well as the thrust bearing. Any other things I should do while I'm there? I've heard of people running stronger gears, my Reverse grinds if i don't put it in reverse very carefully. Shifter can feel a little stiff going into gears sometimes if that says anything.

Any thoughts on what else I could do?

You're right, I'd definitely replace the clutch release bearing and spigot bearing while I was in there. I'm guessing you're fitting a reconditioned/resurfaced flywheel? Just pay attention to what the workshop manual says regarding thread lock and torque on the flywheel bolts.

Did you do it yourself or have a shop do it? I think I'm probably getting close to having to do this on mine as well.

If your draining and refilling the transmission oil while your at it I will recommend Red Line GL4 MT oil. Smoothed up my shifting and will prolong your synchro life!
