View active topics link at bottom of page

I'm always using the "View active topics" link above the navigation bar and I'm constantly having to scroll up to the top of the page when I'm done reading a thread to click on it. The "back" button in the browser works instead, but this breaks when you post a reply. It would be handy to have the link down at the bottom under the navigation bar, mirroring how it is at the top, or something like that.

Good plan - I've added a "View unanswered posts | View active topics" link at the bottom of each page (just above the footer).

I was thinking of one of these two positions to keep it familiar and maybe a bit better looking, either mirroring the top or copying it, but of course I'm just hacking the output, I have no idea how possible it is in the forum's template...
