Grease Nipples?

Hey everybody I have a question about grease points for our L300's. I was reading through another forum (I don't remember which one) I came across article where they had mentioned grease nipples and I was wondering if anyone on this forum had seen or heard of this? I have attached a pic for anyone to check out.

Yes, we have seen that diagram here on that forum
and any L300 owner that take care of their Van use it when it is time for proper maintenance
Save it, print it and...use it

and now for another question lol. How often should the points be greased and what grease would be recommended?

From memory the manual says every 2 years or 20,000km, half that if you're driving in "extreme conditions" (Heat, cold, snow, off-road, etc. Basically all the things we use Delicas for- I'd do it once a year/10,000km).
Use a Multipurpose grease, SAE J310 or NLGI-2.

I grease my nipples every second oil change. Doesn't take long, usually doesn't require much, plus you see other things while you're down there, visual inspection, as it were.

Sounds like a great plan! Also gives me an excuse to spend the day under the deli! Not that I would have a quick nap or anything lol

I change my oil every 5000km and grease my *Delica's* nipples every 10,000km, so I guess (hope?) we're in agreement there.

You should see the technician who does the oil change.
