Delica Canada | Mitsubishi Van Club

Hi all!

At the beginning of this month I started my one year Canadian adventure. I bought my very first car, an L300, and I'm super happy with it! I drove from Vancouver to Trois-Rivieres and camped in my car, and so far so sooo good. When I bought the Delica it still had all the passenger seats but since I want to convert it to a campervan I removed them and will soon start working on the interior. I have a few issues like the original headlights that are not working and two leaking windows, but I'm hoping to fix that before I get back on the road again (by the end of June).

Since this is my first car (I'm from the Netherlands, we do everything by bicycle there ;) and since I don't have much experience with building stuff I will be using this forum a lot, so I'm happy to be here! I'd love to hear any advice on where to go in Canada, good camping spots, building tips, campervan-must-haves etc. if you have any!

Your already doing some good camping. BC is the perfect spot to start.

Kim, are you in Trois-Rivières for a long while ? I am in Quebec City, we are very few L300 around here Will you plate it Québec ? For each Province, there are very good online websites related to tourism/camping, etc. Not far from you is the Mauricie Park: https://www.pc.gc.ca/en/pn-np/qc/mauricie

I will be in the area of Trois-Rivières for 3 more weeks, I'm working on a farm and trying to work on my van in my downtime. I'll be hitting the road around the 20th of June to explore Québec and Nova Scotia. Thanks for your suggestions, I definitely want to visit Mauricie Park!

I won't plate my car for Québec since I won't be staying around (: At some point I do have to go back to the Netherlands so I'll just keep my BC plates until then.
