Hello All,
First off I would like to say thanks for all the great and helpful posts here.
Definitely no 1 place for Delica info.

I have a 1999 L400 Spacegear that I purchased last year.
Have an electrical problem that I can't figure out.
The skinny on it is :

My fuse (10 amp) for rear lights keeps on blowing out.
I have only daytime running lights, turning signals both front and back, high beams and stop lights.
But no lights in the back, no dashboard lights or middle console.

Tried pretty much everything I could think of for the past 2 weeks and no luck.

Any suggestions? Has anybody had a similar problem?

Try changing the tail lamp relay (L) under the dashboard- replace it with the power window relay temporarily and see if that fixes the problem. The relays just pull out, though you have to wiggle them while pulling to unlock the plastic latches.

(On some models the function of relay L and M might be reversed- check both of them, just in case)

A: Headlamp relay
B: A/C condenser fan relay
C: Condenser fan relay
D: A/C compressor relay
E: De-icer relay
F: Fog lamp relay
G: Intercooler fan relay
H: Horn relay
J: Alternator relay

Body harness relay box
K: Door lock relay
L: Tail lamp relay, auto light relay
M: Power window relay
N: Accessory socket relay
P: Rear heater relay
Q: Flasher unit
R: Defogger relay
S: Heater relay
