Its not quite finalized as far as mounting goes but you get the idea. Still have to clamp those hoses...I will fabricate a mountain bracket on top of the air filter cover to add more stability. It just fits and I'm happy with the location of it. There aren't many placed to place this large catch can so you have to get creative and trim a few things in this area. I'll keep you posted with the results. Cheers

Looks like a nice tidy install.

I wonder if the hoses might be a bit small over that length, you might find there isn't enough flow to vent the engine completely. Or it might be just fine. Keep an eye on the engine for oil leaks, and if it starts leaking more consider swapping those hoses for larger diameter ones (same size as the Pro Vent inlet stubs) and putting the reducers at the engine end.

Good observation Growler, I'll take that into consideration. From what I've seen on others Provent 200 installs they are reduced from the Provent end. I'm hoping since this is one of the larger catch cans they make the 1/2" inner diameter hose will be fine to vent it.

I'm hoping this will greatly reduce the blowby thus reducing the daily oil drip from the turbo area.

I notice a lot less leaks from the bottom of the van as well. I'll send another update after my 5000km trip in a month!

I have a feeling the longer hose might be causing problems. I've just done a 3000km road trip and the pro vent has caught several table spoons of oil with noticeably less oil leaks. I'm in northern Manitoba now and just had a really bad oil leak, noticing a puddle after the van was parked for an hour. I chased it down discovering it was coming out of the dipstick where it attaches to the block.

This might be attributed to more pressure due to the longer hoses. I figured my 1/2 moon valve cover gasket would be the first to go but its dry...

I'll seal it with permatex and monitor it back to BC but I might have to ditch the provent on the way! I'll keep ya posted.

That is an odd place for it to leak. I mean, a 4D56 will leak from anywhere it can, but the dipstick's not usually the first to go.

Hopefully you kept the short breather hose, and can just reinstall it without hassle?

I've just ordered a ProVent myself, along with a couple of metres of 25mm hose.
