Hello from the Kootenays!

Hi all!
I am stationed in Nakusp BC, with a new to us 1999 Chamonix edition 3.0l A/T standard roof. Since relocating my family to the Kootenays almost two years ago we had been on the hunt for a vehicle that would give us access to more of the places we wanted to explore.
Truthfully a Delica wasn't even on the radar, but as the search for a used vehicle that was capable, functional, and not miled out wore on I started to expand my search criteria away from just SUV'S, and I'm glad that I did! The previously unconsided Delica was all we were looking for and more. I had seen a few Deli's on the road but had no idea what they were all about, as soon as I started researching them I knew it was a winner.
Selectable locking 4wd, ample ground clearance and approach angle, and proper heavy duty chassis and drivetrain checked all the boxes for exploring the huge network of forestry roads in the area. Coupled with the awesome interior configurations that are perfect for camping, hauling cargo, and seating for eight I thought it was too good to be true, and that was before I found out they could be had with very low mileage at a reasonable price!
Needless to say our family has fallen in love with the van and we hope it will continue to take us places unknown for a long time.
Cheers in advance for all the good advice and info I'm sure I'll receive on this forum.
Now off to figure out where to get some filters...
