Hi all.

Well, I did do a search.. went through 40 pages and could not find an answer.

My 93 Delica, L300, P24 (Gas/Petrol), idles really, really low.. like 300-400 low.

It has throttle body injection.

I see NO idle adjustment that is obvious..

How can the idle be adjusted? is it turning the Throttle position sensor.. it has 2 screws that hold it and looks like it can be "twisted", but I just don't know.

Also, when I hit the AC, the idle does not go up, but goes down.. down really low almost shutting off..

So, I have a very low idle that I need to chase down, and seeing if the Idle Up circuit/solenoid is damaged, locating it, etc.

Remember, I search and went through 40 pages.. read quite a bit.. got a lot of info on diesels and hand throttles, etc, but the GAS version does not have this, plus, I have throttle body injection..

Thanks!!!

Download the complete workshop manual from here: http://www.delica.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=17809

Section 13 (Fuel), chapter 57 (around page 89 in the PDF) covers adjustment procedures for the EFI engine.

It sounds like your idle control circuit, and possibly the throttle body, are gunked up and need a good clean- but you'll probably need to reset the throttle position sensor and maybe a few other things once you've cleaned everything. (I skimmed Section 13, can you tell?)

Good luck!
