Container shipping price, what's included?

Hi all,
From what I've gathered, the price to ship a Delica by container (sharing of a 40') is about $1550 but what does this price include?
I've received a quote of $2000 which included moving the container off the port to a warehouse to be destuffed, the services of the warehouse, the agent administrative fees and the return of the empty container to the port after the vehicle arrives in Canada and is customs cleared. Does this sound reasonable?
Thanks!

That sounds like the going rate. Try to use a local company rather then say BNX from TO as it adds to the hassle.

Does anybody use
Courtney Agencies? There were great to deal with a year ago.
Shoot me a email Delicat, and I'll send you copy of there receipt for two Delicas.

The cost from Courtney should be close to $250.00 Per bill of lading.

Does that include destuffing, etc.. ?
I've only imported via RORO in the past. 1st timer with a container shipment.
Thanks

The exporter I am using is not covering receiving the container on my end here.
It will be a multi-shared container with my Delica inside on the ground.
Can anyone tell me approx. how much am I looking at / process-wise ?
Thanks

Hi, Jessie,
since you will be the one who will pay for destuffing & transport ,
you will likely looking about min, 450 to 650 max.without soil inspection fee.
but to make sure ask your exporter which company you have to contact here when your delica arrived & on which location.
cheers;

Once it gets here, I'll be sure to contact you for a few things I'll be needing.

To follow up on Mardy's message (Hi Mardy!)...
You should talk to a professional freight forwarder + a licensed customs broker in order to ensure that you are getting the correct information.
Sincerely,
Perry
