I think anyone near vancouver will agree with me, I would like to declare today delica day!
I just went cruising around north van, managed to beat the plows, great fun

This is a double-edged sword: my boss knows what I drive, so I have absolutely no excuse for not appearing at work. It was still fun in the snow this morning. Happy Delica Day!
At the moment I'm only getting a hubs locked light but not the 4WD light, though it's obvious 4WD is engaging. Have to investigate when the weather eases up a bit...

that's the same way my lights are, I've always had the green one but never seen the other. I spent a while under the transfer case looking at the wires and they all look fine.

I have to say that my Delica runs very well in the snow, even in 2WD. I guess that the low-rev diesel, Geolander AT-S, and the rear LSD really made a difference.

We had the same problem until our mechanic noticed a loose wire near the front differential. Now the 4WD light comes on . . . we never knew it was there before!

Had a great time running back and forth to Rona this morning. Finally had a chance to run my Deli in 4wd for a little longer period of time. Handles very well in the snow, much like my old Toyota.
Oddly, my rear washer pump didn't work first thing this morning. No pump motor noise, so it wasn't just a frozen nozel. Later on, it magically started working again.... hmmm.... wierd tempertature/moisture related electical gremlin?

Poly, I had the same thing happening to me in the cold, went for 2 weeks without rear washer until the temps warmed up enough to thaw the whole system. I pumped all the existing washer fluid out, filled it with actual -40 fluid and cycled some through. No problems since, even used it this morning in -15. It is not a frozen nozzle that is the problem, the little pump only needs a tiny bit of ice in it to stop it completely.

Of course!!! That makes complete sense, not sure why I didn't think of that myself.
