Anyone hooked up lights to their L300? Trying to tow a trailer and wondering what kind of wiring harness to get.
Thanks!

I doubt you'll be able to buy anything off the shelf. It isn't hard to figure out which wire is which with a test light. Check my post on towing, you may need an adapter for a flat four plug.

i spliced into the rear tail lights for trailer, keep this in mind, you might need a light controller depending on how many bulbs your trailer has. i found this the hard way when installing lights on my bike rack. and the signal light would stop when the brake was pressed.

There are both powered and non powered trailer lamp controllers, the problem with a non powered unit is that it adds additional load to your vans lighting circuit. These Vans are getting on in age, be nice and get the powered unit. The reason you should get a controller is that most Japanese and Euro vehicles run a separate signal lamp/running/brake lamp while most USD vehicles and trailers run an integrated signal/brake/running light. To put it simply ,the trailer lamp controller allows the split circuitry to work seamlessly with the trailers integrated stuff.
These can be purchased at Canadian Tire, Any trailer supply place, Lordco, and sometimes Wallmart.
