Fuse(d) Link Box Repair

Howdy,
once upon a time my electrical gremlin story began with the passenger door lock locking/unlocking when I turned on the left hand turn indicator. Intermittent at best, no other issues to notice. Most recent she ran fine one night. Next evening went to turn the headlights on and nada... noticed the hazards, clock & fog lights kicked it as well, turn signals all good though...
Little bit of searching ( http://www.delica.ca/forum/viewtopic.ph ... nk#p139028 )
seems I'm in a similar boat. Pulled the battery, after cleaning all the posts and connections. Got a better look at the fuse link and the wire running from the "lights" link straight cooked real good.
male & female ends of the connection got it bad. plastic cooked and just snapped out with a bit of pressure. neighbouring IGN setup seems alright.
clip is pooched. wires in & out are pooched at the spade. adjacent wiring for IGN still good. not a whole lot of room from the harness in the van to strip and rewire. curious if there would be any damage elsewhere along the line? Doesn't seem to be on visual inspection.
Best course of action for an electrical greeny like me? try and repair with new spade connectors and maybe split the LIGHT & IGN into separate clips? Skip the clip and hardwire this right in? I don't think I need any Mitsu specific parts at this point. Just some smaller hands and some new connections?
Thanks in advance for any help. Much appreciated
