Replacing headlights with HID/LED halo's

In the USA there is no requirement to switch the headlights for LHD, so most imposters don't do it. While it's not required, the RHD pattern is abysmal when adjusted so as to not blind oncoming traffic.

Then I found these on Ebay for $329 a pair (includes corner housings as well). They're for '99-on, but they fit right in with just splicing in the plug from the originals. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Delica-L300-99 ... :rk:4:pf:0

I tried to copy/paste the post/details of the installation here, but I got a bunch of image errors ("could not determine size, verify URL") that I couldn't figure out how to fix. So I'll just put up a link to my post on the USA forum.

Growlerbearnz, I'm fine with it if you want to copy/move it here and can figure out how.

Great writeup, and they look like an excellent option for swapping the headlamps to RHT. I've posted a comment regarding the wiring of that mysterious white wire.

The forum here isn't configured to use external image links, and I don't have permissions needed to change the config. (Or the skill, if I'm honest, I'd probably just break it). Maybe one day.

Thanks.
I considered saving and directly uploading the images here, but I was too lazy

I updated the post; found an issue with the led control module where it's very easy for water to get in, collect, and cause a short. Luckily it didn't fry itself. Easy fix, bit of silicon (dielectric) grease and shrink tubing and it's all good again.
