SO, uh, my friend, his name is , uh Jimmy, ya, Jimmy, lost his gas cap for his deli and
is wondering which one to buy as a replacement?

Thanks for helping my friend..... I am just asking on his behalf, I would NEVER do something so stupid !! :)

and also which windshield wipers, I am thinking 92 montero. I don't think the book at canadian tire will list the deli?

Ask your "friend" to contact Glenn at CCAutos, sounds like he should have a few of those. If your "friend" is lucky enough Glen might ship it for him and avoid the 80km's drive...

18" wipers for front, can't remember the back..15" ?

The back is 15" but you need to take the wiper off and bring it in to compare, because it has to have space for the arm to attach the way it does, and I found that only the rather expensive winter style wiper would fit, other than some even more expensive ones. Don't know if it's the same story for the front or not.

I had mine misplaced, went to Canadian Tire and got a generic one for a Mitsubishi of similar vintage and it fits just fine.

ya the cap for the 92 montero fits.

and I didn't realize that the wipers were commonly available.

lordco has a machine that tells you for some of their brands, i picked 89 mitsubishi vanwagon. My van is an 89 though. But you could try that with your year.

I put the following size wipers on my vehicle (they were "Aerofoil" wipers from Canadian Tire):
- driver 20”
- passenger 18”
- rear 17”

note that all of these are larger than the stock sizes, but they all fit and don't hit anything, and have the advantage of clearing a bit more glass than the factory sizes.
