Manual glow plug switch schematic for super quick system

My glow plugs aren't heating up and the relays are clicking but one right after another. I took out the ECU and found quite a few traces on the circuit board are corroded so I figure that's the issue. Given the amount of corrosion it doesn't look repairable.
I have the super quick system and I need a schematic or good instructions on installing a manual switch. Everything I've read has been pretty vague.

Here's an answer for anybody interested. It's for a Pajero but the system is the same. It cost me about $35 and I got everything from the local hardware store. It seems to be working but I would love to hear from other members about any better ways of doing this.
You'll have to sign up but it comes with pictures and very clear instructions.

A little searching will get you this info.
Yeah! I suppose you can by-pass, which a lot of owners do, but I had the same issue a few years back and went to Daniel (Victoria) W1ng Elec.
He solved the issue and it was reasonable.
My issue was leaking diodes. I think it would be better to get it back to original working order than hot-wiring it.
From an earlier post:
"
A month ago I ran into the dreaded "No Click" with my glow plugs. After reading numerous threads regarding G.P. issues I started trouble shooting. I replaced my G.P.'s as they had some big miles on them, replaced the relays as well. Nothing! Boiled it down to temp sensor or ECU.
I sent to ECU to Daniel (W1ng elec.) in Victoria - Problem solved. I know a lot of people prefer the "bypass / manual GP" solution but I preferred to have my van operating the normal way as I'm not the only one who drives it.
I originally added my woes to this thread, and quoted Daniel on a common L300 ECU problem:

How much did he charge you to fix it?

I think it was around $140 with the shipping. And a reasonably quick turn around.

I used the instructions I posted for the Pajero. It works well and all you need is a button some wires and a fuse for safety. The hardest part was removing the cigarette lighter so I could mount the button on the same panel. You could get the ECU repaired and hook it up while still using the button as a backup but I don't feel I need it.
