Wet Floor In Cab Area

Hello folks,
I finally got around to addressing the wet floor in my 93 L300 Super Exceed. There was lots of water coming in from outside and every time it would rain, it would get all over the fuse panel, not to mention everything else. I consulted past posts on this topic and ended up removing the front quarter panels and resealing in behind them. It was a bi+ch of a job as not one screw would come out easily. The two that are under the windshield rubber would not come out at all and I ended up just bending the metal back (I know, but I was beyond frustrated) to expose those inner seams and reseal them.
Anyway, everything went back together quite nicely and I felt as though I solved the problem. After the repair I used my carpet cleaner and sucked out about a cup of water from the drivers side front floor area. I figured I'd start fresh with newly dried carpet and go from there. Well, there's a rainfall warning for Southern Ontario today & tomorrow. I checked for leaks and found although it's much better, I'm not outta the woods yet. The passenger side is fine, but there's still water coming in the drivers area. There was no water on the fuse panel (which is great) but there must be water coming in from somewhere else.
So I went back to the old posts and did some more research. I'm thinking some water might be coming in from the windshield washer stalks that seem to stick out further than the front bumper. I traced (as best as I could) water that seems to be coming in right below the drivers side stalk. I checked to see if they were loose, but didn't think they were all that bad. I could however wiggle both of them a little with my hand. I'm wondering if I can reseal them from the outside with something. I know Growler did this but he removed the dash and tackled this from the inside, but that's way beyond my skill set. He mentioned sitkaflex as a sealer and using a urethane based sealer for other repairs of this nature. I might need to tighten my wiper blades at the base and perhaps check the front rain gutters for possible cracks too.
I really would love to fix this problem completely so I can enjoy non smelly wet carpets this summer.
Any advice is appreciated:)
Cheers, Phil
