HI Guys,

been reading a tonne on searches but couldn't find anything more recent on what options i might have in ONtario for batteries.
Wish we had edmunds here!
anyway, these two have I think finally cranked their last crank at almost 10 years after purchasing the L400 from Mardy way back when. guess that's not bad considering i've drained them dead a few times with half closed doors and dome ligths on, etc. lol.
Anyway, what options can i find at Canadian Tire OR Walmart OR Napa OR Parts source OR Costco?

anyone have a model/size that fit bang on on a dual set up? I keep seeing different kinds of group 24's and my current ones says 24C-650 from World Source batteries.

van wont crank and hold a charge i guess, even after a long drive, but starts up fine with a boost from my land cruiser. so need new batteries yeah?

I would just pull the batteries, take them to Napa, get them to match them and recycle them. I'm sure you have a comparable to Edmunds out there somewhere, but Napa will have decent batteries and a warranty to boot.

Ended up with a pair of AC Delco / 24PS - bang on fit and she started right up quick!

Tried to get another pair of world source one / 24MF but the polarities were on the wrong side.

May I know where did you get your AC Delco and how much?

What exactly is the purpose of the dual batteries? My mechanic told me that we can cancel one of the batteries that it is not necessary. Now the van won't start right up but he said that is a fuel pump injector issue. I am really thinking it's because we removed the second battery..
I have 96 Mitsubishe L400 Delica.
Any expert suggestion?

My understanding is dual batteries give you more CCA (cold cranking amps) for winter start up. Not all Delicas came with the dual, but if your mechanic removed one he would need to replace the dual with a single that has sufficient CCA. If not it will be a hard start in cold weather.
