I had sticky squeaky power windows, that drove me nutty so i pulled off the door panels to see what i could do to remedy the situation, there are two wheels or bearings that run on tracks,I cant be certain because there are yellow plastic pcs that cover them, however with a bit of 3in1 lube on the tracks and bearings(wheels) the squeaking stoped and the window goes up alot easier and its not working the window motor as hard, wich is something i dont really want to replace, very easy fix and while I was at it I sprayed all the linkage for the locks and hinges.Took some pics to show the parts I lubed.

Not sure why they didnt go in order ,But you get the just im sure :M

I was up at Gator Glass (in Parksville) two weeks ago getting my driver's side window mechanism replaced and the fellow who was doing the work made one very good suggestion: Get a can of spray lithium grease and give the friction and rolling points a good spray. It makes sense, these are the points where wear occurs and the manufacturers know this, so they don't lube them so that the parts wear out and need replacing.

Hey Rdub
My front windows make a lot of noise when I open and close my front doors, and vibrate a lot when my delica is idling.

I've removed the 3 screws I can see but can't see the retainers for the door panel. How do you remove the front door panels? Do you remove the red door light wiring clip too?

Thanks
Wayne

All I needed was daylight to find the 7-8 white plastic plugs (see outside holes in white door previous). Remove the light wiring clip, 2 large and one small (plus door opener) screw and off it comes. I'll be ordering the inside door trim piece to quieten the noise.

I lubed the window mechanism too. The window moves fastrer now.
