As I continue to search for headlight solutions it dawns on me that the battery is 24v. Does that mean the lights must be 24v? What about the daytime running lights add on, or the high mounted brake light? Ditto the turbo timer.

Thanks
David

Have you picked up your Delica from Prime-Link? (Did you see my low roofed grey one I pickup on Friday? )

I have searched the other forums and not heard of a 24 v Delica's. Does yours have 2 battery's? There is room for a second, it's a tight fit, but I plan to install a second on my wife's Delica. Napa sells DC converters if necessary, Princess Auto is likely cheaper. Guys who run military vehicles get them to run 12v accessories.

Hope your is 12 volt.

Ciao

I recall that the English Translation Owners' Manual says that there is a "Cold Climate" version of the L300 Delica with a double battery (most models have only one).

mark, that makes a lot of sense as my first one, two batteries, was a chamonix or skiers special and the second one wasn't, therefore single battery

12v, you had me nervous there for a momemt with the 24v

My 90 Super exceed did not come with fog lights and I do need them for my morning commute.

Any where special to wire them up?

Thanks,

Dawg

Hey Dawg,

By removing the front nudge bars, or front bezel (On the mid 1990's and new) gives you a few wiring options to under the dash. From there you could mount them on the front bars, I would like a lower set then the ones on my Deli's, seems lower is better. Had 4 mounted below the bumper of my old Caddy and they work sweet in rain and fog; and I needed all the help I could get the way I drove that thing around. A nice switch can be installed beside (left) the rear defrost switch (that's where the regular fog light switch exists) or just to the right of the cigarette lighter, that's where my tank switch's are. There is translations of fuse local's on the aussie Delica forum.

I am still having a hard time trying to figure where to put my second fuel gauge on my Deli'.

And Paul, did your first Delica have a block heater in the cold weather version? One of the two I just ordered is a cold weather version. (No, I bought em' but they are for other people - we need more Delica's in Powell River.)

Good Luck

You beat me to it, i wanted to get that cold weather version one. If you havent got a buyer for it yet talk to me, and if you do, ask if the ladder on the back is for sale... i want one for my current delica.
