Ideas on where to get Delica keys copied or Blanks?

Just got my Delica, and am having a difficult time trying to
get a duplicate key cut.

I have been to a few Mitsubishi dealers, and some locksmiths
all of which have been extremely unhelpful. Any ideas where
I might go (Edmonton) or buy some blanks online?

Thanks again.

We went to Home-hardware for copies. No problem. Any key cutting outfit should be able to help you I would guess.

I tried... no dice.

Tried: Home Depot, Revy and CDN Tire before
going to Locksmith and Dealer, all with no
luck.

Hi Chris,
My first set of keys I got at a key/engraving shop at Sunridge Mall in Calgary, and says 'Ilco' with 'X54' and 'DC1' stamped as the blank type (Sorry don't know how to decipher what they mean)
My second set I got at Rona and says 'Cole' and 'Y107' on one side and 'DC3' and 'X121' and 'Chrysler Imports' on the other side. Mitsubishi made cars for Chrysler a few years back, so maybe suggest they try to match a Colt blank.
The Cole key is about 8-10 mm longer than the Ilco and the genuine Mitsi keys, but still works fine.
HTH,
Jon

If you walk into a Mitsubishi dealership here in North America, that's generally the extent of the kind of 'help' you're going to get from them when you start your query with, "So, I have a Delica and was wondering..."

I was in a dealership a couple of months ago, and the parts clerk indicated she was able to get parts for the engines (because the engine was used in a Dodge pickup truck back in the 80s or 90s), but other than that she had absolutely no access to anything Delica (cannot even 'see' it on the company intranet connection).

That being said, this forum is an excellent source of information and suggestion, you just have to dig sometimes.

And finally, welcome to the group and well met.
