So, im planning on getting a Delica from out west shipped to me in Ontario as i am driving from Ontario to BC in the winter. Does anyone know what i will need to do to make them compliant in ontario? Also, what are some common issues surrounding buying these used? Ive read many of the posts but its seems that noone has these in Ontario (or at least no one in this forum).
I have my eye on a few located at dealerships but if you know anyone selling one for less then 10000 and a 5 speed, im welcome to buying theirs.
Thanks,
Chris

Check with ghmorris (on this forum) - he just drove a Delica back to Ontario from BC. Generally, and this is dependent on who you get to inspect your vehicle, if it passes in one province it should pass in the others. They are all very close. In order to put plates on it and drive it out of BC it will have to be compliant here.
Another place to check for compliance requirements would be ivoac.ca.

Re: Ontario regulations
Ontario compliance is pretty straightforward. Seems to be functionally identical to BC. We had no issues with the ON safety inspection on a vehicle that was already passed in BC.
We used a small, local shop. First Delica they'd seen of course but they dove right in...
