Japanese Vehicle show & Shine??

I was at the tire store this morning and I noticed a poster for a Japanese vehicle show & shine at Gyro Park, I believe it was June 8th. If anyone has any more details maybe they could post them, I didn't have a pen and paper to write it down, but the poster was at Tires Unlimited on Gorge Rd

I think if we could get a bunch of us together we could have a lot of fun going to this event. We could all clean our interiors up nice and spotless
but then drive through a mud bog on the way to the event!

Sounds like a hoot! Possible trip out to Sooke afterwards for some light logging road action? or up behind Shawnigan lake?

Dagnabbit! I'm going to be in Halifax for that (if it's the 8th of June). I would love to go to something like that, and I think we would ROCK the show!

it's a secret....I just found this on a car club website. If anyone is around gorge/hillside with nothing to do, drop into Tires Unlimited and check the poster, then let us know.

Vancouver Island Datsun Enthusiasts' website:
Sunday, June 8th 2008
All Japanese Show & Shine
All Japanese Show & Shine show at Gyro Park. Registration starts at 9 am to 10:30, 11 - 3 pm open to public. There will be everything from project cars to very expensive show cars.
I've also now added this event to the Club Calendar for June.

Ooooooo...... Another ferry ride....... hmmmmmm....... I could get right off on going to that show........ and my usual bed & breakfast is going to be in Halifax, blast! Let me think more about it once I have washed the rest of Snow Creek off the Miss Lil' Bitchi and see how much wax is needed to fill all those branch signatures down the side of the paint job... smiles.

With that in mind, I have room for a whole shwack of people, (double bed, one person cot, inflatable mattress (queen), and if we really want to stretch things, two couches)if any of our mainland brethren wish to join. just let me know who's interested.
