Regarding Photo Albums

Post by FalcoColumbarius »

Does anyone know how the Photo Albums work? I have tried to put together an album but have had no success.

I've been meaning to put up a brief "tutorial" on the photo album (I'm still tweaking the settings, but the album is - to my knowledge - functioning fine at this point).

All members of this Delica Canada forum have the ability to create a personal photo album. To create your personal photo album:

1. Click on the "Create/order my albums" link.
2. Hit the "New" button, and give your album a name (e.g., "Camping Trip May 2-May, 2008").
3. Hit "Apply Modifications" and your album should be created.
4. I would now visit "Modify my Albums" and give album a description. You can also choose to make this a Public Album (viewable by anybody) or a Accessible by Delica Canada members only, or a Private Album (accessible by password only). You can create multiple albums if you wish (e.g., Public Album for Delica Canada members + Private Album for friends and family)
5. Once you've created an album (or albums), you can start to upload files (click on "Upload Files" button at top of page). After uploading files, you can then add captions, etc.

The above describes the basic functions of the photo albums. There are other features as well (e.g., sending E-Cards, adding comments/ratings to other peoples photos, a "favorites" list, etc.)

Hopefully this gets people started!

Cheers,
Mark

I'm working on it, Mark... Obviously we are going to have to have another sortie so I can take a few more pictures and maybe pick Coaxial's brains on how to take good photos.
