New style ladder?

I see a real interesting ladder on Coombs Country (
http://coombscountryautos.com/page9.html ). Stock #14407 (White highroof.) It might be a difficult to use it at first especially if you have short legs, but I'm sure it's just an adjustment period. On the plus side it provides more visibility in the rearview mirror.
Rungs? Rungs? We don't need no stinking rungs!!

But coming down would be really quick -- no rungs to get hung up on!

Funny yes...but original owner probably kept it for the various attachments that exist for the ladder (but which do not need the steps) - ie, ski / snowboard / luggage carriers....still strange though.

Look exactly like my ladder except the cross bars aren't welded on. weird. Must be for the ski/snow accessory racks.

I think that might be the one with the ski box - minus the box it would seem...

Ya, it is, I was looking at it over at Glen's, he was telling me that the ski racks were sitting in the back seat when it was delivered to the shop
