As I was washing my van this afternoon I happened to notice faint lettering just aft of the side door, does anyone know its significance? Anyone know how to find replacement decals?

It is on a lot of JDM vehicles. My guess is a company that has been sending their veihcles to auction lately, but its just a guess, could be a car club, taxi service, religious group, I don't actually know.
I like it though.

It appears to be a 4X4 magazine from Japan, although possibly no longer running. Quick search on the 'Net shows a number of people looking for the same thing as you: the sticker to put back onto their ride. Good luck!
Check out

Paul is correct - it's a well known magazine in Japan:
A lot of JDM motors over here in the UK have these stickers on....and if I remember correctly a certain BC Delica had a set on his motor (let's see how good my memory is Kev??)
There is sometimes an L300 down the road from me that has one of these stickers on - do you want me to get a close-up photo of the logo and convert it to make some stickers?? Quite fancy one on my motor now!
Let me know?

You catch everything about Delica's in the English speaking world and that's just one of the reasons we are lucky to have you here Bruce.
My biggest question is why is there a Postal Code on my Delica, which has come down with a case of Mud Monkey envy lately??

Well its certainly not your postal code - I know that much! (V** 3**

)
Mud Monkey envy?? Wait 'til I've finished with it - might be something then...but for now it's just plodding along!
Hey Kev, any chance you could send me a shot of the sticker along the door? Nice and 'square on' (no perspective if that makes sense??) and fairly hi-res too? The more 'square on' you can take it, the better....
....then I can convert it to a sticker for other members...
Thanks mate, hope all is well with you & the family? Say hi to them from that guy with the 'strange accent'!
P.S. email photo to bruce(insert 'at' symbol here)mud-monkeys.com

Thank you for all the info you guys are great...I see the fonts on the magazine and my Deli are the same. Also thanks to Bruce for the offer to produce the decals but my wifes family owns a advert agency and I'll just use Adobe Illustrator and get them produced on the cheap here, cheers.

That's not a postal code - it's the previous owner's amateur radio call-sign. Broken down: the private citizen lived in the Tokyo/Ogasawara area (area 1) and applied for their call-sign during the 'second recycling' of the 7N series, which occurred between 1991-2003. It would seem that it is currently not assigned...

It looked like a call sign, so I Googled
"Japanese amateur radio callsigns" and found what you were looking for. Cool, eh?

Sooo Stubblebutt, does this mean you can arrange to have stickers of Bruce's Delica skull and cross-bones made up...?
