Duh, I just put 2 new Optima Yellow Top SPiral cells in, and I didn't really pay attention when I was disconnecting the positive terminal on the left side. It looks like the black covered cable loom pictured here connects to the positive terminal on the left, is that correct? THanks for the help!

Yeah - that all looks like positive feed stuff there....

Just to make sure, the neg feed should be a very thick black cable with a yellow band through it - with another the same colour connecting across to the terminal on the other battery.

Thanks Bruce,

Yes the neg cable is separate from that one. Given the system is neg ground it didn't seem like that loom would need so many wires unless it was positive.

Just a heads up on the Yellow top BTW. Originally I got a yellow top from Costco for $184.00 (or $189.00). I hadn't installed it yet and the other day at work our battery supplier pulled up. He had Yellow tops and our wholesale price was $154.00 so I got 2 of them, thinking I'd take the COSTCO one back. Today I noticed that the Costco one had the terminals the wrong way for fitting the Delica best, and as well, the Costco one had 810 CCA and was smaller, while the other ones had 870 CCA. So I guess there are a variety of Yellow Tops out there and obviously they aren't all the same. So if you're tempted to go for the Costco Yellow top, don't bother.
