Polyurethane?

Has anyone ever worked with Polyurethane before? I’m thinking about fabricating up some new bushings for the Transmission mounts. The outer ones that attach to the body. I’m not too familiar with polyurethane and was wondering if they would end up being too stiff and not absorb the vibration. Anyone have any thoughts on this or suggestions?
