What is this thing?

hi guys (and gals)

can anyone tell me what this shelf thingy is? I have been carefully studying the pictures of my new deli, and I can't for the life of me figure out just what the heck it is, or what it was used for. Any one else have one of these in their deli when it arrived? Any guesses as to what it is/used for?

Ooooh,

What you have there is an authentic Mitsubishi after market part! It sits behind the passenger and driver seat. Here's a pic of it in the parts catalog.

MMMMM! I'm in the process of designing my own console for the "hump". Thanks for the link; maybe I'll try to incorporate some of those elements into my own design.

thanks for the info! I knew someone out there must have come across this before. And what a link! (thanks 304) Where on earth did you ever come across it? It looks like a scanned catalog, not exactly the easiest thing to find on-line either! I wonder if they still make these things or if they must be custom made.

Hi, brent, some of this were custom made & some is made for mitusbishi,
its just an oftion to put stup design & Install in the back of the front seat. there is also a tv holder frame attached in the middle consule.
just additional option for them.
