Help removing tailgate trim

Now that I have my new rack, I need to wire the lights. I want to run the wires down under the trim panels that are at the top rear corner of the Delica:

The plastic is held on with two screws ...

... and some clips. After removing the screws I can tell from the loose wobbling that there are two clips, and even where they are. But I can't tell if I should pull up, out, or back. I'd rather not do the old "pull on it, break it, and then know which way I should have pulled."
Anyone removed it? Which way to I pull? Thanks!

I'd like to know as well. Hopefully someone will chime in before you get impatient and pull it off.

Just push the whole thing skyward. There are two small post retainers (I dont' know the tech name) but that is all. Good luck.

I tried (not too hard) to push up, and it still didn't give. But I was able to run the wires through without removing the trim, so didn't need to break them
Will post photos at some point. Thanks for the info.

Through some modifications of my own, I figured out how to remove those trim pieces. Here:
- -unscrew the screws (obviously)
-slip a long flat-blade screwdriver under the upper edge and pry up evenly
-slip a long flat-blade screwdriver under the lower edge and pry up evenly
-ta da!
Now for some pictures:
- Pry upwards and evenly with a long flat-blade screwdriver in these areas.

- These are the plastic posts which are holding the piece in place.

- When remounting, put the posts into the holes, and then screw it up once again.

If the plastic posts break (as they just might given their age/brittleness), one can find something similar from Lordco. Don't bother looking for 'Mitsubishi' ones, just find something which looks similar in shape and length (this is what I used for my rear gate light bar job).
