Spoiler clips?

I'm looking for at least two, intact clips which hold the spoiler onto the rear gate. If you've removed your spoiler and don't intend to replace it, I would appreciate a PM so we can discuss how I can take the clips off your hands (maybe the exchange of goods).

I removed my spoiler in order to repair it, and one of the clips broke and another had difficulty with the set screws. Considering these clips are nearly 20 years old, I thought I was doing pretty good.

No longer to worry, I made some in my garage. Stainless steel, a hammer, an anvil, a drill, tapping set and voila!

If you can manage to get an old clip off without busting it in half (I got three off intact, but the fourth didn't want to play nice), just replicate them. I used some flat strips of stainless steel, fold it into the shape of a 'U', cut it to the lengths you want, drill the holes, tap them, and there you go. The hardest part is the bending - would be best if you could get a metal shop to fold up a one or two metre length, and then you cut it up to the appropriate short lengths.
