fuel injection leak after WVO installation

Post by misterroboto »

Just got my van converted to WVO and have discovered a leak around the fuel injection pump. I have checked all the hoses and clamps and that does not seem to be where the leak is coming from? Is the fuel injection pump and gasket prone to leaking after a conversion? Would the installer of adjusted the fuel injection pump at all to purge the lines? Would appreciate any information I could get on this. Also..... if need be what I am looking at for a new fuel injection pump, reinstall etc etc?

Could be that the blast of new VO got through the seals.

500-800 seems to be the average rate for a rebuild/seals.
