Has anyone tried this anti-theft product?

Hey!, I came across the name of this product, and it has consistently gotten superior reviews from consumers. Apparently it has had a long & proven history of outstanding performance, and customer satisfaction. Has anyone bought one of these in BC / Canada? Where did you get it, and how much did it cost? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Thanks in advance!

I didn't think anyone else knew about this product! We were quite happy with our trunk monkey until it was 'set free' by that animal rights group....

Maybe if ya told them it's a Chimp - an "Ape" and not a "Monkey" at all they might have let it alone... Interestingly, if we weren't the ones who made up the classification pidgin-holes we would probably been classed as apes too, Chimps and gorillas being a but a few genes different... Great clip btw - had a good laugh!

I thought of putting hazmat signs by the doors with pictures of pythons on them.
Falco.

Oh, oh, oh... if a trunk ape is as good as what is seen in the commercial, what about a "trunk sasquatch"?

I mean, think about it: it's about four times as big, probably has the strength of, well, a sasquatch, is scary looking, probably has bad breath, you know... well? What do you think? Of course, one could only reasonably use the trunk sasquatch in a larger vehicle, such as a Delica (I don't think it would fit into the trunk of my VW Golf).

Sorry to hear you no longer have a trunk monkey J. Paul. I don’t think one would work in the moon machine anyway as the monkey is connected into the mysterious audio stage control unit and you have an aftermarket stereo? I would love to upgrade to the Orangutan version that some of the L400 vans come equipped with. Turn left Clive!

Oh, with four kids, there's still plenty of 'monkeys' in the rear of the Moon Machine! They just have less hair.

Hilarious! this thread has taken on a life of it's own. LOL. I guess no one has used the disklok, but the trunk monkey sounds like an even better option

What's a "disklok"? Is it that frisbee-capture-thingy in the first post?

yes. It's basically a steering wheel lock that covers the whole wheel & prevents thieves from cutting the wheel like with regular club-like locks. It also spins, so since there is no leverage, they claim it is extremely difficult to even try to drill it off. It prevents forcing the steering wheel lock, and it also prevents removal of the steering wheel nut. Apparently it is insurance improved in the UK. I know you can get it in America, but I was wondering if anyone purchased one, and had any personal feedback on it.
