Not your mom's mini van.

That's is too cool, in the first 20 to 22 seconds you can really see the front suspension; it's highly modified. I think even the fellow whom does these suspension mods posted on this forum some time back.

Found it; PPS was nice enough to give us one teaser post about the front suspension! http://www.delica.ca/forum/l300-video-1587.html#p10329 - we want more!

James, you should email PPS whom posted that picture.

It all looks like total custom build in that picture; what are they using as a front axle, it's so short? The steering is not from a Delica for certain? And what the heck are those lower arms from, or are they completely custom? Ask him, and maybe you can collect the needed parts before you get your gas Delica.

Thanks Falco. There is also their 'Weekend Ride 3' on the Tube. As you started this Russian car wash thread I can add this one from Udmurtia (Russian Federation) http://life.ru/video/4518
The guy tried to cross the Kama river but was dragged down the stream and stuck. The engine was still running though as he had a snorkel.

Just behind the driver, on the B pillar, there is something that could be an air intake for an internal snorkel. Can't see it clearly enough to tell.

Manuals don't have the one rad under the driver's feet, with no A/C in the rear you don't have the other.

BCDelica's photo also shows what looks like a custom rear suspension. Looks like trailing arms, not leaf springs.

That photo is definitely the underside of a Delicas front suspension; serious amount of parts have been removed and every moving part change to something custom.

I see what Erebus is talking about. The rear suspension on that van is coil with some control arms coming forward. That would be a cool mod as well. I've been wondering if the coil suspension from a Range Rover or Disco would be adaptable to a Delica. My old Rangie had one of the nicest rides and fantastic articulation on coils all around and solid axles.

Never noticed that, was so busy trying to figure out what they've done up front with that rig. Guess it was a strip of the stock suspension, both ends and start moding. Looks like a Delica rear axle, but many Toyota (and other) axles look similar.

I know what it is.

I was in a wrecking yard this weekend in WA and was looking for that setup exactly.

It's out of a GenII Pajero (92-98) rear end.

Came with a factory air locker, 5.29 tractor gears, disc brakes hub to hub, coil springs and larger axles.

They are 1.27 " wider track width then our normal Delica rear ends.

One hell of an upgrade if you're comfy with a welder. :-D
