LEFT hand drive '93 Delica in town?

Post by delicat »

G'day,

Just saw this add on craigslist for a Left hand drive '93 Delica for sale. Weird thing as you'll notice is it has square headlights and smaller bushbar like the earlier 80's model, a different steering wheel and has dual sliding doors. It also has the two sticks (4x4/5sp) on proper side for lefty... Here's the link: http://www.delicaclub.com/viewtopic.php ... &&start=40

G'day to you too mate!

I wonder if it was imported into Canada from Taiwan? Strange to see a LHD after seeing so many RHD's...

I agree, dual sliding doors are handy. Just like Mr. and Mrs. Pitt (@ 3:11):

Hi, the interior of this delica from taiwan is no good. very cheap design.
like a work van. it dont have much noice pad beside the panel,
still; the one from japan delica is the best in the world.
Super exceed , exceed, Chamonix is the best delica from japan.
we have L300 left hand drive in the phils. but it has a cheaper cloth interior. so not quite nice. but in taiwan there is only 5 speed option for delica 4x4, for 2wd, there is auto.
cheers;
Mardy

Thats interesting, they have this van in the Philippines. A friend of mine said the vans look similar to ours ( he goes every year ) and when he asked me what I thought about our van, I said it was great. That's when he said the vans he drove there were pieces of crap, all rusted out and black smoke belching everywhere.

yes, your friend is right & wrong, as in the phils the diesel fuel is refind bad, i mean the diesel is not so good to the engine cheap way to refind the diesel as they sell it there to supply the people need to make it cheaper & affordable.
car there they dont care as it has a cheap labor. no inspection on any car even you convert it from right to left hand drive if came from japan mostly. no regualtion for vehicle inpection. you can run the car in the road even you only have 2 rear brakes working.
the left hand drive delica L300 is good all origianl but it did not product 4wd L300 delica over there only 2wd.
but pajero they produce 4x4 original & strada.
cheers;
