Mustang Connection

Post by chrisbouchard »

Hello everyone,

My name is, well quite obviously, Chris. I am in the market for a Delica and live in the Okanagan. I have been talking with some shops around the lower mainland today and with some more research found mustang connection (www.mustang.bc.ca) in Armstrong. I am wondering if anyone has had dealings with this company or knows anything about them. They seem to know there stuff as the
brother-in-law of the owner is Japanese himself and lives in Japan inspecting all the vehicles before buying. they also keep stocked up on tonnes of mitsu parts and as part of the sale I would be able to purchase any parts at cost. I would consider buying privately but am just a little unsure of lemons and they fact that parts are available and cheep in my part of the province is also a big plus.

Hi there . I worked with a guy who is in the owners family. They seem like really straight talking honest people !! The guy will not let you drive away with a lemon.Good luck.
Also .......do what i did not do and always check with the vsa (vehicle sales authority) to see if there have been any complaints filed against the company !!!

Hi Chris

I can't attest for them personally but when my side windows got smashed last month, a buddy here in Chilliwack who drives a JDM Land Cruiser suggested I try them to find my parts. He swears by them for his Toyota. Luckily I found glass from Coombs Country Auto that was in even better condition than my original glass (Thanks Glen). But, as for Mustang, I've heard nothing but good things about them too.

Cheers
Tom

I've been dealing with Barry and Jane at Mustang Connection for some time now (a few years) and have had excellent service from them. You should have no worries about any transaction - if it's not right, they'll make it right.

I bought my Delica from them last November and am very satisfied with the whole thing. The van is great and they were excellent to deal with. Parts at wholesale a very good motivator. (washer nozzle shipped from Japan still cheaper than a locally bought one for my old Sonoma) Definitely a straight up business, no salesman antics, just the facts.
Good luck!
