Delica Canada | Mitsubishi Van Club

Hello hello

Been kicking around the Delica site for a couple months now.
Got my Delica in Parksville, BC February 2008 and love it. It's a 1992 Chamonix Star Wagon that can be found tearing through the streets of Calgary.
No official name for the van yet but my friends and I have christened it something less than appropriate. Thanks to a busy travel year the Delica has only been on two roadtrips this year. Can't wait to take it up the Alaska highway next summer to show it off to the family.

Welcome to the forum. Another Deli in Calgary -- good, the more the merrier.

You won't be the first up the Alaska Highway, we did part of it this summer (Fort St. John to Whitehorse, then Klondike and Dempster to Inuvik, trip log at http://www.delica.ca/forum/inuvik-or-bu ... -3205.html). And there is already a Deli in Whitehorse that has driven to Tuktoyuktuk, so a Delica has been as far north as it is possible to drive in Canada (summer or winter)!

It is an awesome trip, you'll love it. If you like off-roading, take the side trip to the Smith airstrip. We didn't do it, but intend to on the next trip.
