Anyone know where I can pick up some 95%-100% pure sulfuric acid on Vancouver Island? need it for the acid-base biodiesel process for high titrating oil
Thanks

You could try Industrial chemical suppliers in the yellow pages like EcoLab or Diversey-Lever. Thats where I would start.

Have you tried posting on the Vancouver Island Biodiesel board?

Thanks guys,
I might have a lead on something out of Victoria. I'll hit the Yellow pages next.

Purity is a quite different animal than molarity (or the concentration of the acid solution). You might want to find out exactly what concentration you're looking for - since the price will vary greatly with purity and concentration.
H2SO4 is quite dangerous to work with, so be aware of that. It is also very effective at removing water...
