Hi mates,

This week I lifted the torsión bars at the maximum and…….wwou !!.........it is very good to drive the l300 now !! but I have seem that I need to cut the upper bump-stops.
How much I have to cut them? At the top or at the bottom?

Second question, how do you say in english the parts that support the engine? In Spanish we say “patas del motor....legs engine”. I have broken one of them and I have to replace, but i am looking for how to do it and i need the english name. Something in the forum?

Thanks,

Roberto

I think you are looking for an Engine Mount.

You can drill holes in them like swiss cheese or cut off about 1" from the top.

If you lift past 1.25" you'll have to either remove the upper's completely or get low-profile one's from north shore (generic bump stops).

when i didi my lift that i got fromjfarsang. i took the bump things to a metal table saw ( we were doing the lift at a steal fab shop) and just kind of grounds about a cm n half off... we tried the cheese things but my rubber was to hard and just cracked all over.

Does anyone have the part number for the engine mounts? I know Enviroimports sells them, but I would like to keep it local, maybe Napa or Lordco.
Cheers!
