The D:5 was introduced in 2007. You can buy one in Japan if you want. There are several ads for it on YouTube.

It has the same engine/driveline/chassis as the Outlander SUV, but the D:5 is far cooler.

Those are cool - I did not know they existed until today Definitely like some of the concept vehicles developed by the Japanese auto makers...

My favorite concept vehicle is Suzuki X-Head http://www.suzukiauto.com/about_suzuki/ ... p?m=x_head which can be built with a camper attachment. This would be my first choice if I did not have a Delica.

To bad the production version is never as cool as the concept. I definitely prefer it to the D4 though.
