Tinkering around

Ok, so I only got my Deli last week and the novelty has not worn off. I get home from work and let the wife know I just need to do "something" on the Deli. Doesn't matter what it is, perhaps I just want to lie underneath and look at the brand new exhaust that it came with (its still shiny). Or maybe I want to pull the signal covers off to shine up the light bulbs with a nice soft white cloth. Anything. I just want to get into every nook and cranny of ma' bebe. I love to tinker around. Is it wrong to ignore long time loved ones for your new loved one? How long does this last? Do you offset the time spent in the Deli with offerings of chocolate or perhaps sedation with the 'ol vino tinto is better? Anyhoo, things to ponder and also a lot of drivel.

Cheers to all the Delicans out there

i had to wait a year for mine. So i think i am excluded from a time limit on how long i should be more in love with my delica than my family !!!

i have had mine for 4 months now and i still find a reason to drive it everyday. I go outside to the driveway so i can open the sliding door and smell the interior !! I don't know about all the other delica's but i love the smell of my delica !! It sat for over a year until i got it, but i can't get enough ! It is hard to find time to tinker though.......honey'do list and my baby girl !!!

cheers

I hear ya, totally! Just love finding reasons to play with Hazel. And I like the way she smells - ahhhh. I love my bus too. We've had her for 8 months and 13,000 km and there's no sign of the novelty wearing off - Addictions are like that - once the hooks are in they get deeper and deeper - Hang on!! :M :-D

Nearly a year. The honeymoon is still happening, baby.
