Need an alignment ? Best guys in the biz - Dale's Alignment

These are hands down the best alignment/suspension guys in the business.

Over the past 15 years my close friend and licensed mechanic/4x4 fabricator has been sending all of his vehicles, both stock and custom, to Dale's Alignment.

Sports Trucks Unlimited/North Shore4x4 send all of their custom lifted rigs there.

Every single customer said good things. I have no idea how many thousand's of vehicles he's taken there since he opened his shop.

They have every vehicle you can imagine on this planet in their system including all Delica's years/models. I double checked and their specs are identical to Mitsubishi/UK repair/tech manuals.

They also have some neat machines. They do laser/auto-leveling alignments meaning they will level out your delica and align it properly.

I cannot praise them enough for their promptness and quality service.

They do everything. They specialize in custom alignments (ie. hot rods, motion picture custom vehicles, etc...) yet they still enjoy working on normal vehicles.

It's a family business (Dale's and his sons).

Worth the drive without question and I've been recommending them to everyone with a vehicle I've known since they've opened and never a single complaint.

They are up front, honest and trustworthy as far as your suspension/brakes/drivetrain goes.

ps. I took my first Delica to Westcoast Alignment on Powell and they screwed up the alignment not once, but twice over a month. Was not impressed and I got charged both times. :x

How did WC screw up the alignment?
Had mine done there and wouldn't know enough to know if they messed it up.
Was 10K ago I think...maybe less....but tires seems to be wearing ok.
What should I look for?

bump

Not only have they been doing L300's out the yingyang, but they have been doing alignments for L400's as well.

They have every vehicle under the sun in their system.

price? or is it a very subjective thing? I've never had to get an alignment so I don't know.

Guys and gals
A correction to the above. They do not adjust torsion bars. :-( :-(

They have a nearby shop that raises torsion bars but they don't. I read Jf's description and expected to have my L300 raised and aligned. This is not a criticism, just a correction. They firstly showed me my front end problems, no charge, and left me the option of replacing my own parts. I changed the parts and returned for an alignment.

I didn't have the time to arrange for a front end lift and will do some other time then unfortunately pay for another alignment.

They DO and CAN adjust your torsion bars.

I just had two Delica's done last week (t-bars & alignment)

Costs a few bucks more but the service is there. You just have to specify while you're making the appointment to allow them extra time for it.

I don't remember for sure which shop it was, however I thought it was Dale's Alignment that did the alignment on my Delica this summer when I was in the lower mainland. At the time they refused to crank the torsion bars for me saying they didn't have the right tool to do it? (Erebus could probably give you more information here, as it was he who took my delica in, and not myself as I was busy hiking the juan-de-fuca trail at the time)

They told me they wouldn't crank the bars cuz" If we broke the torsion bars then your Delica would be on our hoist for 2 weeks." Sounds a bit confusing with the different excuses given and some people getting service and not others.

Westcoast raised mine, and did the alignment too. Yes, I know all the horror stories told but I had no problems afterwards. It's a hassle to have this work done in 2 different shops.

They took 2 hours to do the alignment so time was not a question. The alignment cost was $99.95 plus tax. No complaints but lots of questions.
thanks

It is.

I also think it may come down to the service person. Some will do it and do it right while others will do one or the other and possibly not have the right specs while doing the work.

Q's are good. It keeps the service peep's on their toes. :-D
