I have a small leak in my two part fill hose. I want to replace it, but have not yet found a hose with enough flex to alow sufficient turn radium without crimping the hose.
Any suggestions???

what degree of bend do you need?
i went to a marine store for 1 1/2" hose. its a buck an inch and it flexes past 45 but not to 90. its steel reinforced.

Yeah, I need prity close to 90 Deg. What is the name of your hose?
Hey thanks again for the WVO when I visited Powell River. That fill set me up for the fall with a balanced volume in and out. So SUPER appreciated!

Two options coming from the marine stores.
First one is the 1 1/2" fuel rated. It's very stiff and hard to work with.
The second option is the 1 1/2" sanitary hose. Looks very similar but it's softer hence easier to work with, bends more easily... I don't see a problem using the sanitary one with veggie oil, it's still very thick.
Jay aka Tardisdeli will have more information if needed.
Good luck,
David

go to lordco and have a look at the rad hoses in the back. Find one that is formed to 90* and make sure it is 1-1/2" ID.

I am using fuel hose. I also have a 90 deg elbow right now and this is the leaking problem. I already tried the 1.5 elbow in mufler stock but found that the hose did not even come close to fitting over it.
I tried the more flexible clear hose and it still bent and started crimping, but was able to do a better radius than the fuel hose.
