Hi everybody,

First off thanks for everyone's help. I've learned a lot from all you out there! I drove a 92' Super Exceed to Toronto...I now live here. I know. I know! I've heard the jokes. So I'm in Toronto and I'm having a difficult time getting insurance. Is there anyone out there who can recommend a place? Also, while I'm at it. Does anyone know a good mechanic in Toronto? Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the help. Thanks everybody.

Greg

Can't really help with Toronto, however I can tell you that in Alberta there are several options that don't seem to be afraid of Delicas, some of them may operate there as well.
- Meloche Monex (TD Insurance)
- Johnson Insurance
- ING Insurance (this one seems to depend on who you talk to, but they do insure RHD if you get the right agent)
I also managed to get a quote from Canadian Direct, however it took quite the amount of work, and they came out at double the price of anyone else.

As for a mechanic... don't know any in Toronto, however when I destroyed my turbo in Ottawa I had a very positive experience with Metric Auto Service in Ottawa, they had never seen a Delica before, but they weren't scared of it and were willing to work on it.
Really it's a matter of finding someone who doesn't freak if something is not in the computer, if they aren't afraid of "different" then the Delica is actually a very straight forward vehicle to work on.
