Well the snow is here and its more than a dusting this time. If you would like tire chains/cables, they are on right now for $199 with FREE delivery in the Victoria area , so if you cant get out of your driveway, I can bring you your chains. I need to know the size of tire you have, Its on the side wall of your tire, for example, 235/75/R15.

If you own a delica and cannot get out of your driveway, regardless of chains or not, you should turn your keys in. No delica for you!

First not to totally hijack the thread, good choice of chains Noel; easy to install and less sideways slip then the H style chain. Don't go far from home without a set onboard.
Holy Buddha Adam; miss that white stuff but not the cold. This was taken at 2pm today.
Best Regards,
Kev

This is a sample picture of some of the chains for sale, some of them are the cable version, it all depends on your tire size.
yesterday I drove a Pajero, Landcruiser & Delica in the snow and ice, the Delica was amazing in the deeper snow, but could have used some weight in the back end for the ice. the tires were bfg AT's with some ice sipes added after they were bought. seems to be the best of both worlds. but i think a couple hundred pounds in the back would make the difference between stuck and not, Chains are the ultimate equiliser on ice, but if your having some trouble on the ice, throw some weight in the back, some ideas are , Cubes of wvo, 5 gallon buckets filled with what ever, milk crates with some good size downrigger cannon balls, work out weights, Just make sure if you put something in the back, make sure its secure incase you do a little unexpected Spinning/sliding.

Thats really cool , the difference in weather between you two guys. what a solid weather system! I skied over 2 feet of that sweet snow at Silverstar on the weekend. Winter is finally here, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

I bought this product

Stick that puppy in 4x4 and have at 'er!
Seriously though, chains are important for winter driving in many places, though perhaps not for driveway driving.
