I live in U.K. but my brother in Port Coquitlam in Canada. His Delica broke down. I've got a fuel injection pump from 1996 wich is fly by wire eletronic one. But because it was mistake he needs to sell it. I've got another 2 pumps wich are older type and he has to sell one of them as well. Still having them over here. Will post them in few days. The first one is out of 1996 pajero with 60 k miles on the clock in perfect working order 2.5td auto 4d56 engine. That pump is compatible with some of the older Delicas and Pajeros but mostly with 1995-2006.(have check that). My brother said it will cost him about 1500 CAD to rebuild the pump so i was thinking to get one for him over here. But it was the wrong one so i've bought 2 another. His phone no. is 6047205214 name Mike. Thank you.

1995 Pajero 2.5 Injection pump is compatible with 91-98 Pajero 2.5, NOT the L300 Delica's.

The 95 Pajero pump is setup differently to incorporate the air flow from the intercooler which the L300 Delica's do not have.

I recommend to post on the 4x4wire (Mitsu / Diesel section).

All Pajero owner's in there.

If your brother is in Coquitlam, then he can get his pump removed from his van, rebuilt, put back in for around $1000. If he's paying $1500 just for the rebuild then he hasn't been reading on this site enough...

Good luck!

He is not paying 1500 because i've got a pump and he did it himself. He is not a fan of computers except checking his emails that's why i'm doing it. He said 1500 because that is what he has been told. Now i'm just trying to sell a pump which i have bought by mistake , which is fly by wire 4d56t engine pump and he is using the old type of pump. Delica works now. He has a damaged pump from his delica for sale is well, if anyone of you want to rebuild it and keep it as spare can get it so cheap. I'm able to post any other small parts from here because we have so many delicas over here. First pump in perfect condition will cost 600 CAD second 200.

Problem with trying to sell a used IP is that they are actually different from one Delica to another one. Don't know why that is but they differ, you might not be able to tell right away but once you're trying to put it on you might find that your "new" pump doesn't fit like it should. Jfarsang experienced that first hand...

Good luck anyway!

Then you're only reading .02 % of the threads on this site.

I gave you the link in the my post above (which is help - pointing in the right direction) as well as the reason why your Pajero IP will NOT work with Delica's (main vehicle for this forum).

Logging onto the Mitsu forum at 4x4wire is no different than here.

There is an entire section/thread going years back for the Pajero alone.

Go there, log in and post your ad. You'll likely get a response there.

No response here because it's not a Delica IP (see my post above).

If you are adamant about selling it here in delica.ca then you can wait until summer time when the L400's start coming with with the proper IP w/ intercooler.
